Matrescence, Motherhood & Work

Tuesday, August 16 12:00-12:45pm PST on Zoom

We’ve been conditioned to believe that becoming a mother is just a quick pit stop on the road of life, where you have the baby, take a few weeks, months or if you’re lucky - a year plus - off and then just pick up right back where you left off. But the truth is that your journey through matrescence will change you, and it will shift your perspective on your work.

There are also significant social and cultural pressures and expectations that impact a mother’s experience of motherhood and her paid work. It’s not just you that finds navigating life as a working mom difficult; our systems were not built to support you.

This workshop will explore how your matrescence and our societal expectations influence your day-to-day experience of being a working mom, and what you can do to find more ease.

Can’t make it live? A recording will be shared afterwards with all those registered.
